No, this is impossible right now. But I plan to add this feature.

As possible solution: it is possible to set the background image for the toolbar. So if the toolbar content is not dynamic you can make some parts with different color.

Toolbar content changes sometimes, so that would not work. One solution is to separate the toolbar into many smaller toolbars. Then maybe I can make them dock to each other.
