I noticed that after installing WXP. Usually (i. e. if all works fine) I have 12 icons in the system tray. However, it happens very rare if I have had TLB enabled before rebooting -- more often I'll see only 5--6 icons after rebooting. If I logoff and then logon again, it is very likely that I'll see all 12 icons again.
NB: all TSR apps are still loading (visible in process list), only their icons are hidden. In W98, this bug didn't appear.

Maybe a very obvious question, but is there an arrow located to the left of the system tray? XP hides lesser used trayicons by default, using the arrow you can show them again. You can configure this behaviour in the Start Menu settings...

Of course I have this feature turned off! Besides that, if I didn't forget to disable TLB before shut down my system, I always have all icons visible after next logon.

I've noticed that the weather monitor plugin doesn't appear after restarting or logging off and on again. Raistlin: Is it all plugins on the taskbar (not submenus) that don't appear?

I mean I got icons in system tray invisible, not elements of TLB.

How many icon do you have on TLB? Do you use any of antivirus software?
I know about problems with Kaspersky Antivirus when file monitor if enabled system take too many time start and some system tray apps do not add icons into systray.
If you are using other antivirus you can to try:
1) disable to monitor files inside toolbar folder
2) Organize most of shortcuts into Virtual Folders. Virtual Folders have loaded content on first opening.

I have in the "root" of TLB: Clock plugin, 3 folders (with a couple of icons inside) and one folder with Volume plugin. No TSR anti-virus software is installed, though many other TSRs are loaded on startup.
I just replaced all my folders in TLB with virtual ones and will write about results. Though virtual folders don't provide the possibility to create another virtual folders inside themselves; is it really impossible?

Well, what can I say... With virtual folders instead of real ones, the problem has gone. But the question about a virtual folder inside another virtual folder is still actual.

At this time, yes, it is impossible to create nested virtual folders. However, you can still create folders inside the virtual folder using, for instance, windows explorer.

Alright I have the same problem here, not solvable with virtual folders!
I don't have any anti-virus software running, and I have the same problem as Raistlin stated. This didn't happen in True Launch Bar 2.0, but in the beta 2.0.0.7 so it IS a beta problem!

When I enable TLB and reboot, only 2-3 from actually 10 icons show up. DIsabling TLB and rebooting again does the trick and the icons in the systray show up. Well I have windows 2000 running so that doesn't seem to be a winxp problem either more likely something wrong with your beta Wink

PS: I send you a mail about adding hotkey support for the Virtual Desktop plugin... think about it hehe

So it's me again, with the same problem. Due some enhancements to my TLB structure, I replace one of "root" TLB virtual folders with the real one (that contains another real folder and a couple of virtuals). And the problem is back again -- because of just one real folder! What to do?.. ???

Just to mention - we use NOD32 Anti-virus with no problems.
