Disable Windows Key v1.1?

Hi Yuri,

Thanks for this plugin very much! I've had a heck of a time finding any way to disable windows keys. May I ask how you were able to get them disabled?

As a feature request/alternative, would it be possible to have the plugin be able to disable any key?

There are a number of other annoying "features" that windows seems to take over such as ctrl/alt/shift + win + 1, etc. It would be nice to be able to disable these as well.

For example I'm not able to set a hot key to shift + win + 1, windows stubbornly takes it over even while trying to set it from the hotkey set dialog.

in windows 10, especially in the latest update, VERY many new hotkeys (which are associated with the WIN button) were stuffed that began to overlap with my global hotkeys.
 
Question - HOW TO DISABLE THEM? Do not reassign, namely release - so that they can be used in other programs from within the programs!
 
What have I already done?
1-PlugIn ohm from true launch bar I disconnect this is how it looks http://prntscr.com/puedf1

3- tried to do it like in point 2 https://windowsreport.com/windows-s-key-not-working/ - does not work
 
tell me something, and soon Microsoft will take away all the keyboard shortcuts associated with WIN
Once again, I don’t want to reassign them (I know how to do this through autohotkey), I just want to free them so that in other programs it would be possible to use these combinations as global ones. That is, I want what plugIn does from point 1 only for all the remaining combinations. And since the plugin can do this for those keys, then I suppose that this is generally possible.

it will be VERY nice if in this plug in will be function "button WIN + every button on keyboard" for future microsoft stupidity...

There is actually a way to do it, search on the internet for Registry key DisabledHotkeys under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

My current registry has these settings (note, the characters listed there are not necessarily the actual keys that are disabled, for example & = VK_UP)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"DisabledHotkeys"="VZSKOPGTU ,./+-0123456789&("
