Hello

Please forgive me for the stupid question but i could not find an answer.

I'd like to have a button with the drives listed but that open automatically when the mouse is on it, I can see this on a lot of screenshots but I never could make it work on my unit.

I have made a button called "drives" and put in it shortcuts of the drives but I have to doubleclick on it to open the drive in a windows and for example I'd like to be able to browse to c, program files, truelaunchbar, plugins with the mouse and no click and then click and open the folder I want.

Thanks for the help

Hello txl and welcome to TLB forum.

Having never tried to do what you ask (although it is a common thing to set up) we tried it to learn how to do it and here are your instructions:

Place cursor in a TLB in an empty space and click on New>Shortcut
Browse to the drive you wish and click on it
Click Next and either rename or keep your shortcut title
Click Finish
Click in an empty TLB space and select TLB Settings
Select Mouse and check Run shortcuts on mouse hover
Click on Apply and you should be set

Please let us know how it goes!

You can also create a 'virtual folder' instead of the shortcut described in the first step by QSection: Select New > Menu, and then click 'Virtual folder' and select the drive.

This will create a button that automatically expands to a menu with all folders and files on that drive...
