Looks like I registered too soon. FreeLaunchBar has exactly the pieces of the TLP featureset I use. 
Still, I think it was money well spent to support the development of both products. With TLB, I was able to replace WinKey for my hotkeys and another toolbar app that was way too clunky to be practical, all with something that doesn't require running another program (or two) and the startup overhead associated with it.
