It would be nice to be able to turn on/off tooltips on a per object basis. This would be useful for certain examples such as spacers (they don't really need a tip popup), and autopopup menus (they are going to open as soon as the tip appears anyway). It might be implemented through the context menu on each object. Just an idea.
