:?: :?:
The Notify - No sound between setting has two parameters, one for start time, one for end.

However, neither shows whether its AM or PM and the value is only a 12 hour clock, not 24 hour.

So how can I set this properly? What does the 12 hour value default to? AM or PM?

Both clocks (on the Notify tab) are in 24h format here, using Mail Monitor 1.14beta.

Perhaps this is related to your regional settings in Windows? And what version of Mail Monitor are you using?

Hmmm, not sure where regional settings would come into play. The version is the same, 1.14 beta.

The up/down arrows on each time will not go higher than 12:00:00, they just roll over to 00:00:00. Nor can I overtype the hour. I can overtype the hour with '12' and get 12, when I overtype with '13' it takes the 1 and ignores the 3.

My regional settings are for Canada, would the date format be involved since we use dmy format not mdy as in the US?

When I click the down arrow, it rolls over to 23...

Well, I'm just guessing... the regional settings also include 'time' format, check out that tab... Here it says "H:mmConfuseds", where the capital H stands for 24 format. Perhaps it's set to "h:mmConfuseds" on your computer?

Bingo!!

I've never even looked at the possible formats for the time before; didn't know they even existed.

However, it would be nice if MailMonitor could cope with different settings and avoid this type of confusion/frustration.

Thanks for your insight.

Well, TLB simply uses your own regional settings... and if you set your regional settings to a different format than you would expect, THAT is confusing Wink

Well, I don't want to be pedantic, but if I choose to Display midafternoon as 3:00 PM rather than 15:00, and MailMonitor chooses to 'honor' my regional settings, then shouldn't it also then display AM/PM so I know just what the heck 3:00 means rather than guessing whether its mid-afternoon or middle-of-the night?

Regardless, I've changed my regional settings, set the notify options to no-notify between 18:00 and 08:30 and it STILL triggers the sound notify during the evening (e.g. last night at 23:30) when I don't want it. It seems there's still some work needed in this area.
