What does the "minimum size option" mean? The name isn't intuitively obvious at all to me. And when I change the setting, I don't notice anything different.

You must have True Launch Bar v3.2.12 beta for this feature.

You can control the size (width or height) of the VC plugin button. If you place VC on toolbar or on menu without other buttons VC can be too small so you can make it larger.
Thank you, but I do have True Launch Bar v3.2.12 beta installed. I can't see that mouse wheel support does anything.
Mouse wheel works flawlessly here for any skin. Indeed you must hover the mouse over the volume bar you wish to change.
Windows 7, IE 9.0, Shell 6.0.6000.16386, TLB 4.2.3 beta
We are using 3.2.12 βeta as well and cannot see any differences or mouse control. When we were installing this we saw v 2.1 on the top of the installer window. We closed the TLB and reopened it to no avail. In Explorer it says v 2.2.0.0 for the tlbvol.exe and the volctrl.dll.
Yuri?

This is not a bug of VC. This is the bug of True Launch Bar. So in the next version of True Launch Bar this bug will be fixed.

Both points confirmed. VC works in menu only. Yes properties looks like your screenshot.

After investigation I've found that this is not a bug. This is the Windows feature. Windows send messages about mouse wheel to the window with keyboard focus only. So TLB menus always have keyboard focus (you can use keys to navigate) but toolbar don't have keboard focus .
Are somebody interested in utility that fix this Windows feature globally?
Yuri Kobets Wrote:Are somebody interested in utility that fix this Windows feature globally? I am. I'd appreciate being able to get rid of NirSoft Volumouse.
I'm guessing you will need to use a global mouse hook.
Indeed, if you put a Volume Control on the toolbar itself, and then just open any TLB menu (which gives TLB focus), the mousewheel also works fine.
Perhaps you should just accept this as "known limitation", it's not that the entire plugin is useless if the mousewheel doesn't work

Not here; I need to click the Task Bar first to give it focus, and then open a TLB menu. And even then, sometimes it doesn't work, and I end up trying multiple times.
Yuri Kobets Wrote:Are somebody interested in utility that fix this Windows feature globally? Yes it would be a good thing but only if it does not require very much time for you, Yuri. We want you to keep the core TLB work going. Also how about that Universal Data Fetcher? Do you plan a release soon?

Ok, Tordex Wheel

I'll release the RSS reader first.
You don't sleep, do you, Yuri?
I am very appreciative. I'm glad you didn't simply consider the problem a "known limitation" of the plugin.
Tordex Wheel works with the Volume Control plugin (in the task bar), and solves other problems (and annoyances) as well.
Thank you very much.
