I just wanted to start a thread which shows the various ways that people use TLB. Who knows what you may inspire in others. TLB is one of the only programs I use EVERY single day I'm on a computer...the best windows utility ever created. Here's my screenshot.

Great idea for a thread Jayzun!

Can I make an additional suggestion?

Name the programs etc. you may be using in addition to TLB in any images posted. (naming OS flavor w2k/xp etc. might be nice as well.)

For example, in your screenshot, what is it you are using in the lower right to place time/day/date at the end of the toolbar?

And where are your tray icons?

Thanks,

Rich

In mine I'm using Windows XP...when you increase the size of your taskbar XP fills the clock area up with useful info...that's a standard clock/calendar with XP. The rest of the stuff is just TLB plugins, winamp in the lower left, drive space in the lower middle, and just an address bar in the lower right.

Also, I'm using a shell32.dll replacement for XP that changes all of the ugly XP icons with new and improved ones. Smile

Nice desktop benby...I have one question. On your side TLB, it looks as though it's locked like the bottom taskbar can be. Normally there's those 2 lines at the top when you dock on the left or the right...how did you get rid of those?

BTW, what msstyle are you using?

Mazy, where'd you get that cool transparent cursor at? Is it a whole set?

I like your desktop...I had my taskbar on the left for a while but just couldn't get used to it...looks good though! Big Grin

thanx Jayzun!

the cursor is CrystalixSapphire for CursorXP, which is stardock's cursor enhancer app, you can get it from stardock.com and this theme from wincustomize.com

as for vertical toolbars ... i don't know, i got used to it and i couldn't use horizontal one now ... it has more space and the space left for applications is higher and more square, which is imho better for reading documents, browsing etc ...

i love it Wink

My desktop:

True launch bar on the top using the winamp plugin (just for the song title) Standard icons are used for the first four buttons

Bottom bar is on auto hide. First 5 buttons are menus that pop up, then standard shortcuts, drive space and the volume plugin

Visual Style is Sapphire

Nice desktop jgallen...

different from what most people have Smile What are you using to play winamp if you only use the winamp plugin for the song title?

I have shortcuts (prev.exe, play.exe, next.exe...) and I just changed the icons so they fit the visual style. If you want/need them, let me know

Yes you can. Use IMG tag in square brackets. Image must be hosted somewhere else. But please do not use large images.
