Task Bar on Right seems larger??

I'm not sure what I did but the right hand area of the task bar is now about 2" plus.....used to about 1/2 of that.......

Anyone got a cure??

I guess you've change the system text size (or DPI). See the attached screenshot. I've marked by red color the default state. If you have any other value then Windows make larger not only the text but the icons also.
