I'm currently running under Windows 8 Pro x64 which I got via my Technet subscription. As such this is the final retail version of W8 that will make it's general appearance on Oct. 26.

So far TLB is working perfectly for me. I find that it makes a great replacement for the absence of the traditional Start Menu under Windows 8 Desktop.

It might be profitable Yuri if you used TLB to make a 'canned' Start Menu replacement specifically for W8 users. Seems lot's of users don't like the fact that there is no traditional Stat Menu.

I have grown to really like W8. An annoying thing I don't like is the constant switching that goes on between the Metro screen and the Desktop. Seems there has to be a better way to handle the Dr. Jekyll Mr. Hyde nature of W8 :-)

Yuri, if you have a version of TLB designed with W8 in mind I would be honored to do any testing of it for you.

Forgot one thing. Since glass is no longer available in W8 those options in TLB that use glass will obviously not be glass. However they still produce good looking results for me.

Yes, glass transparency is not working. But the simple transparency works well (just uncheck the "Use Glass Effect").

I don't plan to make the version specially for Windows 8. Updates will be released for all supported windows versions. Maybe some new Windows 8 features will be supported. Wink

TLB is your best friend in Windows 8. Thanks, Yuri! And there's a Start folder under Program Data you can easily get shortcuts for those that don't get placed in the desktop.

One thing I haven't been able to do is place a second TLB in the second monitor taskbar. Any ideas?

Looks like it is impossible to open the toolbars on the second taskbar Sad
