Hi

If I select a sub menu where the bottom of the sub menu initially overlaps the task bar there is a sort delay before the sub menu re-positions itself so that the bottom of the sub menu then touches the top of the task bar.

Generally, as I can't wait for this to happen I end up selecting the incorrect menu entry! Wink

Here's a link to a short screen video that shows what I mean:

Is there a setting I should change to prevent this behaviour or is it an idiosyncrasy of Windows?

Just as an update, it seems that this behaviour has crept in since V6.1. I have just updated one of my other PCs from 6.1 to 6.4 and it is now doing the same, I should have left it alone!

Thanks

Just to follow up all I had to do was uncheck "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows" in the Windows Taskbar Properties.

Dooh!

Yes, turning off this option will help. But I guess these jumps is the result of working of 3rd party software. I can't to reproduce this bug, and TLB don't align menus to keep taskbar visible. If you are using some software from "window manager" category, it can move windows, including TLB menus, to make the taskbar visible.
