Hello, I'm a longtime user of true launch bar, always amazing when I want to try something new it just always seems to already be there.

I'm having trouble though with a new idea. I'd like to have a right-side of screen, auto-hide toolbar who's contents are the files of my desktop, much like a menu folder would be, except without the button -> menu.

I've gotten that working, but the ability to have any kind of sorting/filtering doesn't seem to be possible.

If I right-click on the toolbar (not one of the files) I don't get any of the arrange, view, appearance options like you would with a menu. If I right-click on an item, I get them, but they don't have any effect on the toolbar "list of files."

Ideally it would be a vertical list of files, sorted in descending order by modified date w/ folders at the top, with some possible filters.

I've tried this sort of thing before with a tear off menu, but going that route doesn't seem to have any ability to 'dock or auto-hide, etc.'

I've even tried going mucking with the tlbdata.xml and settings.ini files without much luck (can't find any documentation on them anywhere, even google doesn't seem to know).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is the right way! To dock the torn off menu, hold down the CTRL key and move to the menu to the screen side. TLB will dock menu automatically. The right-click the menu for auto-hide options. Here is video about this feature: http://youtu.be/2MSoC3dZl48

Also the version 6.6.9 RC2 have the tags for the docked menus.

This is perfect, thank you! Where are the same auto-hide options such as animation effect/speed, etc for this torn off menu?

Also, the customize menu, adding a docked customization doesn't seem to have any effect...

Thanks Yuri!

TLB Settings->Menu->Docked.

This is confusing a bit, I know. But if you want to customize the docked menu, just right-click inside this menu and select "Customize menu". If you have some docked menus and you want to customize them all, the "docked menu level" must be added to the parent of all menu. The best way: right-click the toolbar and add docked menu options there. Toolbar is the parent of all menus (root).
