Hello pakiyabhai. Smile

To "Stroke It" and "MyIE2" (a free and excellent tabbed browser), I'd like to add:
- "TrayIt": minimize any window to the system tray (free).
- "Wink": to easily create tutorial/guides in Flash (free).
Some examples can be seen here.
- "DVD Shrink": if you want to make backups of your DVDs (free).
- "ColorPicker": grab any color on your screen; very useful when working with images or designing website (free).

I'd like to add

XPlite (shareware) allows you to remove many windows "features" that you'll never use.

Object Desktop (subscription) includes many things I use every day (WindowBlinds, ObjectZip, ObjectEdit)

4NT & TakeCommand32 (shareware) command prompt replacements (I use both)

Now let's not argure whether StyleXP or WindowBlinds is better, that's not what this thread is for.

There are various others that are freeware I have listed
here.

Class time, time to run.

Mouse gestures? Ah, more RSI Smile. KeyLaunch looks very nice though, but with 260 GB of HDs, I hope it's fast enough to index most of that, as I've got a looooooot of relatively small files Smile. We'll see!

To add to the list:

Total Commander (shareware, but like TLB, worth the fair price imo)

I use this one if I don't want to spend time changin my current WBlinds skin to support those features.

also winamp deskband if you want to have control of your audio/video with a programmable game controller...

I could keep on like this forever but I won't

Tools! I like this kinda thing. I'll look at those suggested.
Here are mine:

K9. For simple and reliable spam detection. Just fantastic. Tell
it what messages are bad/good for a week or so, it learns from
what you feed it. Free.

The Bat! is easily the best email application for anyone with a
penchant for customization. Templates, identities, address
books, filters and command of external applications/files are
all amazingly scriptable. Complete with an on-screen scrolling
mail ticker. 30 day. 35 Euros.

Perfect Tools. Macro programs with enough commands to
make Windows dance. Any sequence of commands can be
activated by a shortcut on your True Launch Bar.
Trial. $19 and upward. Personally, I'm really happy with
the $30 edition of Perfect Keyboard.

Life Balance is an intelligent ToDo list program. It allows you to
balance everyday stuff against more complex or long term aims,
without ever having to directly prioritize one above the other.
This program is the reason I brought a Palm computer (it's for
Windows &/or Palm.) 30 day. $70.

Have fun. Don't waste hours playing with these like I have Wink
/Mark

See also..
Web Vacuum. The best for downloading files/images from sites. Trial. $22.
Treesize. Bar chart analysis of your folder sizes. Free, or pay for more features.
NetCaptor. Tabbed browser. Still better than the free copycat ones? Trial. $30.
Treepad. Notepad with a tree sidebar for organization. Free, or pay for more features.

mark76uk I downloaded this macro utility of yours and I made some macros, but I can't find any ways to export it into .exe or something that can be started by TLB, how did you export it for use with TLB?

It's a pity there is no .exe export. To run the macros with
True Launch Bar, you create a shortcut to the RunMacro.exe
application (found in the folder with Perfect Keyboard, Perfect
Tools, or whatever you installed.)

In the screenshot below, 'Move to MP3 folder' is the name of
the macro I wish to run. The rest is just the path to
RunMacro.exe

/Mark Smile

Ignore this attachment. It's a mistake.
