Manually Arrangin the Icons - help

ok , need help , read the faq ,

I got like 10-20 programs in a bar , i wanted to categored em all by say in internet/utilites usin the seperator , problem i m not able to 'move' the icons within the bar , icons are not locked , automatic is ticked off , still

how do i do that ?
