REQ: MP3/MEDIA Launceher Menu

If I add my MP3 folders to true launchbar I would like to be able to click on a subfolder with my left mouse button. An example

if my folders look like this

c:\mp3\
Iron Maiden
Madonna

I would like to drag the mouse pointer over iron maiden and see my subfolders in this case the names of the albums I have. Then I would like to left click either Iron Maiden or the Album Folder and enque it in winamp. But I still also want to be able to se every file under the album folder, so I can single select one song for enqument if I just want that one.

I hope you understand what I mean, a function like that would be a real blast. Otherwise thanks for a great software!

What version of True Launch Bar/Windows/Media player are you using here?

I don't have any issues on 2.2.0.18RC3 as all this funtionality is already on the context menus.

Yes, but to access them I need to rightclick on the folder first then left click on enque in winamp. But it would be much easier if I just could left click.

you can change this ability through winamp
to enable this option go to the winamp preferences screen, go to "File Types" under the "General Preferences" There should be an option to enque .mp3's on double click elsewhere
check this option and you will be able to enque item

Gandir wants to enqueue a *whole folder* of songs with a left click. I think, Ozxar, that those WinAmp preferences are just for single files.

Perhaps some kind of 'open everything in this folder' function would be worthwhile. Like 'open all favourites' in NetCaptor (see screenshot.)

So how do you open a folder if left clicking plays all the mp3s
inside? I can't quite imagine it.

Indeed, left-clicking on any folder will only just open/close the submenu with that folder's contents. The only way to enqueue an entire folder in Winamp, is to set the default action for folders to "Enqueue in Winamp", which you definitely do not want!

Anyway, like HorusUK mentioned, right-clicking a folder shows you all the available explorer options/extensions inside the contextmenu, and IMHO changing the left-click behaviour for certain folders is quite confusing...

Hey, and next time, someone else asks for a BMP plugin that opens all image files in a folder in his favourite viewer, or a ZIP plugin that adds all files to an archive... where will it end? Just use the contextmenu!

This feature will be released in one of the next versions. We've already discussed this question.
