Which version is the best version of Winamp? It seems some say 2.76 or 2.91 or 2.95 or ? ? ?

Thank you.

I like the latest 2 for it's speed, 5 for it's media library (indeed with WA2-skins). However, I must say I only used 2 daily so I can't say how well 5 performs in that area... I'm more of a WMP guy nowadays Smile

Winamp 5.04* gets my vote for all round excellence, but I only use it on XP.

For my Win2K box I have to say that the latest Winamp 2 is far better. As you're on 98, I'd say use Winamp 2. Big Grin

Incidentally Yuri, I also use Quintessential Player and would love to see support for it in Media Control. It's got some handy bulk tag editing built in, good plugins, etc. Wink

They just released 5.05, in which some security issues are solved... so don't miss this one again Wink
