Speaking about contextmenu's, I can make explorer crash when right-clicking on either the very left of true launch bar, or the left-most icon...

Unfortunately it does not happen every time, so (from time to time) just try right-clicking several times near the left side of TLB from time to time, and explorer will disappear and restart...

What icon there? Also try with context menu without shell menu.

I just right-clicked every icon from the middle toward the left, and Explorer crashed (this time with a debug/terminate window) at the 6th icon, which is a normal shortcut to a 32-bit program...

Btw, the left-most icon is a shortcut to presstart.exe (also a 'normal' shortcut).

The contextmenu is configured to display the shellmenu inside a submenu, and with icons.

I can only reproduce the crash after explorer.exe has been running for several hours...

After the setting the context menu for Buttons to Without Shell/Button it does no longer crash explorer.

I'll try to set it to default now, so both TLB and Shell menu are shown in the popupmenu (with no submenu's)...

The crash was reproducible at another testsystem running Windows XP, and again it happened on a contextmenu with shell menu inside a submenu...

On my own computer I must admit I haven't seen any crash anymore after the 'unofficial update' of RC1, even though I configured the contextmenu's to have the shell menu inside a submenu again... The crash I mentioned above was on TLB RC1 without this update...

Did you change (fix) anything without mentioning it? Wink

Hmm, I was too optimistic: right-click on shortcut just caused explorer to disappear and restart again... Sad

Shell menu is back inside a submenu. It somehow needs to 'recharge' before it will happen again...

Tips style is set to "Balloon"

Options "Show tips on menu" and "Show icon on tips" are enabled...

(I'd read the other topic, and ruled out the tips as the cause in my case...)

Explorer crash every time or sometimes? If sometimes please post screenshot of menu here. Also send backup of toolbar to support@tsoftcentral.com I'll test your configuration.

Mail with backup toolbar has been sent, screenshot of popup menu shown below. I've cut off the rightside of the toolbar, I hope it will not mess up the forum layout this time Wink
