Hi,

I've recently updated to the latest beta and I have noticed a high cpu consuption ony my p4 2.4Ghz. It varies between 7-15% on the explorer.exe procces. Without the TLB the cpu usage drops to 0%

I've tried without plugins the usage dropped to 7 - 10%

Any Ideas?

No problems on my setup. Explorer stays between 0% and 3% most of the time with 3 TLB version 2.2.0.15 RC2 launch bars and 4 Weather Monitors, Network, Drive Space, Turn Off Computer, and CD Control plugins.

HorusUK,

TLB without plugins is like a day without sunshine. Big Grin

BTW - I also use the spacer plugins. Wink

Try to delete plugin one by one. I guess one of plugins takes time.

Hi,
I have come to the conclusion that the plugin Media Control has something to do with the Cpu consuption. When I delete the plugin the cpu of explorer.exe process drops to 0-2%

Anyone else has the same problem?

I mentioned it last year in this thread, but it got no replies...

A quick test with the latest Media Control plugin version (3.1) showed that the 'extra' CPU usage is only very low (total 3-4%, where it takes 1-2% if the plugin is hidden).

Also check the auto-hide feature, then it will only show the plugin when needed!
