ToDo List plugin is created to manage tasks you must to do. Also this plugin can be used as a pad for your notes. All tasks are shown inside menu. You can set the priority of each task and "finished" state.

Note: this plugin can be used with TLB version 2.2.0.16 and newer.

And one more note: This plugin is designed specially for registered users of True Launch Bar. If you are using True Launch Bar in demo mode then you'll be limited by 5 tasks per plugin.

Quick! Get that child to a hospital. They've obviously had far too many E-numbers, and your Domo-kun avatar has affected them severely... Smile

This is really cool idea... Big Grin

Just changing the 'view' options in that plugin's menu gave some serious alignment errors. Try "Large icons", "Icons with text" in "1 column"... really weird...

Maybe disabling changing the view is easiest... Wink

It doesn't have QUITE the same effect for me here, but I have just finished my personal debugging on this, and came to the conclusion that a lot of the context menu is out of context! (Pun intended. I'll be available for taunting after I've posted this!)

If you go into TLB Settings and in the Context menu section, change the menu templates for plugins to Recommended for plugins, it'll go away! Perhaps this is a cue for me to take a peek at what I can make the new context menu templates do...

My observations on ToDo so far:
The default colour of the menu items is inconsistent with the settings in the Menu section of TLB Settings. For example, I have a dark skin and TLBs default menus (aka virtual folders) are fine as TLB gracefully uses my Windows colours (white). However, ToDo displays it's items in black so I can barely see it on a dark background!

It is possible to change the colour in the context menu under Appearance... | View and as long as you haven't turned them off for plugins as I suggested above! However, this has the unfortunate effect of making my lovely yellow menu item (See previous screenshot) black when I hover over it.

Finally, I think the order of the priority shortcut keys is illogical. Pressing Alt+1 for the lowest priority and Alt+3 for the highest seems odd, as I assume that top priority jobs are priority 1, and instictively pressed Alt+1 before realising my mistake.

YURI,

I just thought of something! Could you enhance the To-do plugin a little more and let us set reminders that would popup a reminder message from TrueLaunchBar.

Oh shit, that would be the sweetest thing in the world.

Except it's not in the context of the to-do list plugin.

A small bug with this great plugin:

I've set the Win-key to open my startmenu, but now it opens the ToDo plugin while there's no hotkey set for this plugin (option not available ??? ).
Kind regards,
Cornelis

What XP Style do you use?

Hmm... now I see this. In the next version I'll change keys.

I plan to extend ToDo List with some features of tasks:
* start/end date (with reminders)
* completed percent
* export into html/text
and some others.

Win key opens the FIRST menu on toolbar. So if you place ToDo List into beginning of toolbar then Win open this menu.

First menu on my toolbar is my startmenu. ToDo list is placed on a second toolbar, which one is processed first? The second one is named 'TLB Plugins'.
Kind regards,
Cornelis

It's a Customized Windowblinds skin based on Blackcomb by GreenReaper. The customizations I've made don't affect the menu colours so it should be fine for testing.
Back once again...
