Resource leak

After a long time running windows (and TLB), explorer.exe is sucking up all GDI objects (940 in a constant increase while I'm writing).

As TLB is embedded under the same process I think it's coming from it. I am using MBMonitor, Drive Space, Mail Monitor, Turn Off, Clock and Volume control under a submenu, running on TLB v2.2.0.16 RC3. How can I track which plugin is causing that (if it's not TLB himself) ?

Delete or hide the individual plugins one by one and let it run for a day or so between each. If the resource leak stops, the last plugin you deleted/hid is the likely culprit. If all the plugins are gone and the leak remains, it could be TLB or another dll attached to the explorer process.
It might be helpful if you could include your OS version with your plugin versions.

I'm using XP SP1 with all the latest versions of plugins (nothing in auto-update of TLB)

First be sure that your TLB is not registered by pirated key. Then delete one by one plugins. I do not know about GDI resource leaks in TLB but maybe there are problems in one of plugin. If TLB eat resources without plugins then backup TLB and send file to <!-- e --><a href="mailtoupport@tsoftcentral.com">support@tsoftcentral.com</a><!-- e --> I'll check your configuration.

I'm registered user of course, hiding plugins helps or I have to delete them?

The best way to delete plugins. Also you can drag them off toolbar on desktop then you can return them back if there are no problem with plugin.

Well, I closed the toolbar that had plugins, windows is now running for some time and there don't seem to be any more leaks, I think the problem is on one of the plugins I said in the 1st post. I'll report more as the debug process goes

I'm not 100% positive, but I'd say no. Skins don't deal directly with reserving and releasing memory, so I don't think they'd be responsible for a leak.

I do not know about problems with skins.

In fact the problem doesn't seem to be gone even without plugins, this morning explorer has twice more GDI objects ??? In case I am wrong and it may not come from TLB, how can I find which module is hogging memory cause there's lots of dll attached to explorer ?

You can try a program called Process Explorer by Sysinternals. It shows what is using which resources and you can find it right here. By the way - it is freeware. Try it out and let us know what you have learned.
