Can anyone tell me how to remove a Suggestion Box entry I posted, which I later found to be obsolete? Or can a moderator remove it for me?

The Suggestion Box post is ...

NEW UNSORTED
"Office Shortcut Bar Option"

Thanks for mentioning, an erratic forum setting prevented you from deleting your own posts. You should now be able to delete your own post using the "X" in the top-right corner of your message.

You can read all about how the forum works (or should work), using the FAQ link at the top of this page...

Sorry, but I do not see an X in the top right hand corner of the Forum posting to which you replied, nor do I see one in the top right hand corner of the Suggestions posting I wish to delete.

Do I need to set something in order to display X's?

I read the FAQ about ...

"How do I prevent my username from appearing in the online user listings?
In your profile you will find an option Hide your online status; if you switch this on you'll only appear to board administrators or to yourself. You will be counted as a hidden user."

Does this mean only that my login name is no longer posted? Can browsers (guests) still read my postings?

I guess I'm asking what part of me appears to users other than board administrators and myself?

Look at the bottom of the forum index. There is a list of users that are currently online. If you set yourself to 'hidden' status, you will not be shown in that list to other users. There is no way to post anonymously, and that's intentional Wink

To remove the suggestion box entry we'll need Yuri's help as neither myself nor Dracula have adminstrative access to the suggestion box to do this for you.
Back once again...
