I need a way to have a button on True Launch Bar that can be setup to simulate a keystroke combination. I can't press certain key combinations so I rely on the mouse a lot.

I'd like to click the button and have it send something like CTRL-SHIFT+O or some other combination.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks but that's not what I had in mind. I'd like to keep focused on True Launch Bar.

Mr. Kobets, can this be done with True Launch Bar?

With the program mentioned by ozxar you can create an executable macro. And then you can simply add a shortcut to that macro to your True Launch Bar. There you have it: a TLB button that simulates a keystroke (or even a sequence of keystrokes).

It'd be a terrible job to rewrite everything as a plugin, and even a waste of time and effort if an excellent external program already exists...

Part of the fun is to investigate how to add functionality to TLB by using (or exploiting) these existing programs... Just give it a try Smile
